About this Product
1. Standard series pipe clamp. Typically used in installation that requires average load and moderate vibration with normal working pressure.
2. Polypropylene clamp body. The top and base plate are made of galvanized steel.
3. Working temperature between -30˚C to +90˚C.
4. Provides higher stability to the hydraulic system by reducing the impact & vibration caused by fluid movement.
What Are Pipe Clamps?
Pipe clamps are also known as tube clamps, pipe clips and hydraulic brackets. By gripping the pipes or tubes in place, it helps in maintaining the stability of the hydraulic system hence reducing the impact and vibration caused by fluid movement. Firm gripping of the pipes also prevents them from moving or dislodging.
What Are the Types of Pipe Clamps?
There are 3 series of pipe clamp; Standard series, heavy, and twin series. A complete pipe clamp installation consists of four components which are the clamp body, weld plate, cover plate, and hexagon head bolts. Standard series clamp is typically used in installation that requires average load and moderate vibration with normal working pressure.
How to Assemble a Pipe Clamp?
To install a pipe clamp, mark the base plate at the preferred position. Next, weld the base plate into position. For elongated base plate, use screws/bolts instead. Push the bottom clamp onto the base plate and install the required tube or pipe. Finally, mount the bottom clamp with the cover plate and bolts.
