Spanjaard Hts Silicone Grease SPANJ-HTS SILICONE-500G

Spanjaard HTS Silicone Grease is an inorganically thickened grease, recommended for rubber and plastics. This grease is water resistant, chemically inert, has excellent electrical insulating properties and has a long life span under conditions where conventional grease cannot be used. It is comply to food grade HSF H1 requirement as well. 

Applications

This grease can be used to lubricate parts and bearings under low speeds and light loads. It can be used for all high and low temperature applications (silicones are however not the best lubricants for normal ambient conditions). However, this grease is not suitable for High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS). 

This grease can be used as lubricants that does not affect rubbers and plastics e.g.

- Refrigerator and car door seals.

- Swimming pool rubbers and seals.

- Plastic gears and mechanisms.

- Electric cables drawn through conduit.

- Laboratory glass joints.

- Rubber components and cylinder rolls in train air brake applications.

- NSF registered (H1 and H2 status).

It also a great water & corrosion resistance grease which can be used to seal electrical equipment against the ingress of moisture, and protects metal parts against corrosion e.g.

- Seals outdoor electrical fittings.
- Protects chrome plating.

- Seals screw threads and automobile battery terminals.

Silicone grease is an insulating compound that prevents electrical leakage and short circuiting e.g.

- Sealing and potting of electrical and electronic components.

- Prevents tracking on insulators.

- Protects automobile ignition systems.

- Prevents ionisation and sparking on electrical equipment.

It also acts as a releasing agent in the rubber & plastics industries as well as many others e.g.

- Can be used as a release agent for polystyrene, PVC, phenolic and other resins.

- Prevents binding of components when coiled insulation varnish is cured at high temperatures.

- Acts as a mould release for rubber as well as a lubricant and preservative.

- Prevents resin build up when epoxy and other glues are used.

- Prevents icing up in deep freezers & on ski bindings.
