Wiring Check Procedure:

1. Plug the unit into the 230V socket outlet under test.
2. Check the three lights on the front panel.
3. Match the light pattern with the legend on the unit's face for decoding correct or faulty wiring.

About RCD (Residual Current Device):

• An RCD is a safety device designed to prevent fatal electric shocks by cutting off power when detecting a fault.
• Provides some protection against electrical fires.

RCD Test Function:

• Plug the unit into a 220V socket outlet under test.
• Press the yellow button momentarily.
• If the RCD doesn't trip, it may indicate a fault with the RCD or its wiring.

Limitations:

• The item cannot detect earth-neutral reverse.
• All wiring should be conducted by a licensed Electrical Contractor.
• Do not leave the tester plugged into a socket outlet for more than 2 hours.
